MOB is Down! [April 27, 2016]

We noticed a problem happening at MOB.  We have disabled our forum to make a complete investigation.

MOB Down (Update) [Nov. 21, 2015]

UPDATE: 11/21/15

We wanted to give an update what occurred with MOB being down / disabled.

On Nov. 17, 2015 around 12pm (Pacific Time), there was a hack/deface attack against our site.  The hacker tried to deface our main page so it would redirect our visitors to another site or present their propaganda.

We were able to catch the hack attempt in time (meaning we stopped the hacker when he was logged in).  Thanks to our security scripts and team staff (that we run on our site 24/7), we were able to stop the hack attack from completing.

We then immediately locked our site.  Then got the phpBB security team, our host security team, plus another online security team to analyze the hack attack.

We removed all hack changes made to our site.  Restored our site and database from a previous "clean" backup.  Salted all passwords for our support team.  We didn't lose anything as far as accounts, posts, replies, private messages, files, and etc.  Everything is still intact as far as our content goes.

As a precautionary measure we strongly advise all MOB members to change their passwords.  Especially if you used the same login credentials (ie. username and password) for more than one site.  We urge you to change the password in those other sites that you use the same login credentials (i.e. logins, emails, banking, shopping, social media, and etc.)

We plan on enabling our site, once we get word from our security team that it's safe to do so--we estimate to be back online starting next week.

Don't worry, we make daily and weekly backups of our entire site.  So nothing is lost. :)

We are experiencing an issue with our site connecting to the database.  We just sent an email to our host to solve this issue for us.  So we should be back shortly.  Never fear, we didn't lose anything, since we have our site backed up daily. :)

As comical as it may sound to some of you, we are back with more problems from our server side.  We will be back momentarily.  Sorry.

MOB is Down [April 15, 2014]

No, it's not because it's Tax Day.  We seem to be experiencing a problem, seems our forum's database can't make a connection to the server.  It's something internally and we've reported the issue to our host.  We should be back momentarily.  So please hang in there.

The reason why you are getting this message (even though you try to point to the website domain) is because we recently moved our site to a new server, and it takes some days for your DNS to update.  But you can do this by following the above instructions or simply doing several CTRL+F5 on your keyboard.

We are currently down.

We are trying our best to contact our host/server. 

We will soon return, we hope this issue won't last long.  Or else, we will just move to another host/server.  We have a full backup of our site.  So no worries! :)

Bug is fixed!

We experienced a little hiccup (bug) earlier today, but it seemed that it was a brief error on the server side.  So all is well now!
